The instructor in the dark Superb should repeat the driving school himself, not teach

The driving school requires you to take three different tests similar to the official tests in order to let you continue in the course. Of course, these tests can only be taken on Tuesday afternoons, so if you don't have time on Tuesday, you're out of luck and will be doing your driving test for three quarters of a year, like me. Mr. Ludvík may have a lot of experience behind the wheel (as he reminds you several times during each lesson), but he definitely doesn't know how to teach. He always points out every mistake you make and, most importantly, doesn't explain anything. He speaks in a vague way, someone might say that he is sometimes aggressive. It is common that instead of the command "let's park here" he says "right turn signal and brake", which is difficult for a complete newbie who is happy to be driving at all to understand. Once he jumped on my steering wheel and started honking his horn furiously - because he saw my wife on the sidewalk. Stops at his house (to take home the shopping) or to buy fresh bread in Žabka along the way are quite common. I think in total it's at least an hour that I just sat in the car while taking care of my personal things. It's quite common for him to talk to his wife or the phone operator while driving. The last time he asked me "whom should I give priority to" and for about 10 minutes he kept trying to get me to say "he won't give priority to anyone because he's a passenger" - during that time I didn't have a chance to concentrate on driving. It's not the worst driving school, but if you have a choice (for a similar price), you'd better try something else.

I am writing the review and overall rating with a very, very long gap. Overall, everything only dawned on me after almost a year and after finishing driving school this September. Well, where to start. I took the rides with Mr. Hurský, to whom I transferred due to a previous bad experience with another driving school. Everything started out normally, the teacher was strict, really quite, but fair (at least the first two rides seemed that way to me), but then it went downhill. The rides started to be incredibly stressful parts of the week for me. The teacher's strictness turned into a permanent roar, arrogant comments. I usually got various comments after every mistake. Everything could be tried, but the biggest problem was the teaching. To be specific, there was no teaching. The rides were conducted in the style of: "Go, I won't tell you anything and I will tell you something about it at the end". Nothing more, nothing less. During the ride I asked several questions and tried to get something out of the teacher on my own. I was either rebuffed or told the sentence: “You should have known that by now”. So the rides were unpleasantly tense the whole time and after leaving this driving school and transferring to another one I realized that I had not progressed anywhere, even though the basics and the “Knowledge” itself were in me. I don’t know what else to add. It is slightly shortened, since the whole story would be a book in itself. To be honest, I am still grateful for this lesson. Yes, I experienced very unpleasant moments in the car, when Mr. Hurský was throwing me around with embarrassing comments and didn’t explain a single thing, but at least it hardened my nerves and determination. Such lessons are needed in life. For my part, I certainly do not recommend anyone to come here unless they want to experience similar situations as me, although it is true that someone else might catch the teacher's eye ;)
