The first stress-free drive takes place at a training ground, where students calmly familiarize themselves with vehicle operation. The school offers flexible study plans adapted to individual time possibilities, refresher lessons on school vehicles (Škoda Fabia II with air conditioning, garaged year-round), and preparation for license reinstatement after a driving ban. Training includes both theoretical and practical parts, including vehicle operation knowledge and health education. Students can use textbooks free of charge.

AUTOŠKOLA OMEGA, s.r.o. in Chomutov on Kosmova Street 4721 is one of the longest-established driving schools in the region, providing continuous training since 1993. The school offers driver's licences for categories AM, A1, A2, A, B, C, D, E and T. Candidates can choose from several course formats: a standard course lasting two to three months, a crash course completable within 30 days, or a VIP programme with evening and weekend lessons. Theory instruction takes place in modern classrooms equipped with two driving simulators and audiovisual technology. The fleet comprises seven personal vehicles under five years old, three motorcycles, a truck, a bus and a tractor. Theoretical instruction uses color presentations projected onto a large screen, complementing the instructor's explanations and helping students understand traffic rules more easily. Practical training begins at a practice track, where students safely familiarize themselves with vehicle controls before entering regular traffic. The training vehicle is an air-conditioned Škoda Fabia III. New courses start every week, and the school offers individualized study plans adapted to each student's work schedule.

In addition to the standard course, the school provides refresher driving lessons for license holders, fleet driver training in compliance with Czech labor law, and preparation for re-examination to reinstate a driving license after a ban. Tuition can be paid in installments without any surcharge.

Skrblík driving school is based on Krušnohorská street in Jirkov and has been run by instructor Václav Kastner since 1991. Over more than three decades, more than 1,500 drivers have passed their final exams at the Chomutov municipal office.

The school specialises in two areas of services. Refresher lessons are designed for experienced drivers who want to restore or improve their driving skills under professional supervision – an ideal option after a long break from driving, when preparing for specific driving situations, or simply for those wanting to build more confidence on the road. Autoškola Profi has been operating in Chomutov, Kadaň and Klášterec nad Ohří since 1991, making it the longest-established private driving school in the region. Founded by Ing. Jan Chvátal together with his father, it gradually expanded to three branches. In 2001, the driving school obtained prestigious authorization from the Czech Ministry of Transport to conduct its own exams for all vehicle categories including buses, in 2003 it achieved the highest registration category for group D, and in 2008 it was certified as a training center by the regional authority. The team of seven experienced instructors led by Ing. Jan Chvátal and his wife Ing. Olga Chvátalová consistently invests in their own education – in 2009, all instructors completed advanced safe driving training and skid pan courses at the Safe Driving Center in Most. The school emphasizes quality instruction as the foundation of success and offers a complete range of driving licenses from motorcycles to passenger cars, trucks, buses and tractors, including retraining for drivers with suspended licenses.

Autoškola Viktoria provides category B driver training at two teaching centres in the Ústí nad Labem region – in Kadaň and Klášterec nad Ohří. The school is run by Václav Ťoupal with seventeen years of experience; alongside him work three instructors including Blanka Suková (13 years), Roman Chocholáček and Jan Kremla, a former traffic police officer.

The school emphasises thorough teaching without commercial pressure and individual attention for every student. Training takes place on a modern vehicle fleet – manual cars and the Renault Zoe electric car for automatic transmission training. Students choose between a standard course lasting four to six months and a fast-track course, with instalment payment at no extra cost as standard.

Theory lessons are held every Thursday from 4 PM, alternating between Kadaň and Klášterec. The school also offers beginner driver training, refresher lessons, re-examination for licence reinstatement and preparation for participants in the L17 mentored driving programme.
