Professional Training Havlíčkův Brod District

The founder of Autoškola Smart, Jakub Sajdl, continues a family tradition – he was inspired to open the school by his grandfather, who practiced this profession throughout his life. In less than two years since opening in 2024, the school has earned a 4.8-star rating on Google Maps, reflecting the quality of instruction and student satisfaction.

The branch in Ledeč nad Sázavou offers a wide range of courses: Group B in two variants – classic (3–4 months) and express (2 months) – both with the L17 program option for drivers from age 17, motorcycle courses for groups AM, A1, A2 and A in KLASIK and PROFI versions, and trailer endorsements (B96, B+E). Additional programs include specialized conditioning drives to regain confidence behind the wheel or on a motorcycle, and the mandatory beginner driver training.

Instruction takes place in a modern classroom in the AMK building, practical rides can be completed on a flexible schedule, and the instructor personally picks up students at agreed locations.

Autoškola Milan Sedlák in Veselý Žďár near Havlíčkův Brod offers driving training for a wide range of categories: passenger cars (group B), motorcycles (AM, A1, A2, A), trucks (C and C+E), trailer combinations (B+E, B96) and agricultural tractors (T). Instruction follows a safety-first philosophy supported by the Autoškola Pohodlně learning materials, giving students not only the theory needed to pass their exams but also a foundation for accident-free driving. The school offers both standard group courses and individual training for group B for those who prefer a more intensive and personal approach. Textbooks and instructional CDs are included at no extra cost. The school is operated by Milan Sedlák himself from the office in Veselý Žďár, with theory lessons held in Havlíčkův Brod.

Autoškola MM in Krucemburk is a small driving school with an individual approach, operated by Monika Mrštíková. Category B training takes place in the peaceful surroundings of the Vysočina region, with an emphasis on preparation for real traffic conditions. Instruction is adapted to the pace and needs of each student – without unnecessary rushing and with ample time for practice.

The school has two instructors: Monika Mrštíková handles theoretical and practical training, while Vladimíra Hanauerová specialises in professional competency re-examinations for new drivers on probation (ZP and PVZP). This service allows new drivers to complete the legally required preventive programme directly at the driving school.

Autoškola MM also offers the L17 accompanied driving programme for young applicants from age 15.5, refresher drives for graduates, and supplementary training lessons for those wishing to improve their driving skills before the final exam.

Josef Pipek Driving School operates in Havlíčkův Brod and focuses exclusively on professional driver education. The school runs an accredited training center for continuing professional competence development – regular 7-hour sessions designed for professional drivers holding licenses in categories C1, C1+E, C, C+E, D1, D1+E, D and D+E. Participation requires a valid Certificate of Professional Competence.

Training is available at two locations: the main classroom and office at Na Ostrově 28 in Havlíčkův Brod, and in Světlá nad Sázavou at the Pneuservis Šmíd premises. Sessions are arranged individually and must be booked at least 10 days in advance. The school office is open on weekdays from 7:30 to 14:00, and on Wednesdays until 16:30.

Basic driver training courses for obtaining a new license and additional driving lessons are not currently offered – the center's full capacity is dedicated to training existing professional drivers of trucks and buses.
