Autoškola Jirák, run by Vladimír Jirák, is located in Nový Jičín on K Nemocnici street and is one of the driving schools with the longest tradition in the region. Instruction and training have been provided continuously since 1984, with the school beginning its current operations on 1 September 1990. Vladimír Jirák emphasises an individual approach and dialogue-based instruction using modern didactic technology – ensuring each student not only passes the driving test, but is also well prepared for everyday road conditions.

The school offers courses for categories A2 (motorcycle up to 35 kW), A (unrestricted motorcycle), B (passenger car with manual or automatic transmission) and C (commercial vehicle). Car training takes place in trusted Opel vehicles. Since 2009, the school has operated an accredited training centre of the Moravian-Silesian Region for improving professional driver competence, offering both initial and periodic annual training for drivers in categories C and D.
