Autoškola Kříž in Poděbrady has been operating in the region since 1996 and belongs among driving schools with a long tradition in driver preparation. Operated by Kříž JS, s.r.o., it offers a comprehensive range of training for all basic and expansion driver's license groups. Students can choose between manual and automatic transmission for group B, preparation for motorcycle groups A and A2 is also available, including upgrades from lower categories. For professional drivers, the driving school provides training for groups C and C+E for truck driving, B+E expansion and lighter B96 for driving with a trailer. In addition to basic courses, it offers conditioning drives for drivers who want to refresh or improve their driving skills, and license reinstatement programs after point penalties. Driving school Pinkas in Poděbrady and Nymburk has been operating since 1996, run by Aleš Pinkas, with a team of nine experienced instructors. The school offers training for all driver's license categories – from motorcycles and passenger cars to tractors, trucks and buses, including corresponding license expansions.
