Absolute garbage driving school, just saw the instructor nearly cause an accident by instructing the learner to skip the whole queue for a turn off and last minute wedge themselves between 2 cars just a couple of spots ahead of us, no indicator nothing. Reading some of the other reviews explains a lot and thanks to these r*tards that call themselves ‘teachers’ there are so many people on the roads that have bad driving habits and cause serious accidents. Appalling…

I chose the driving school on the recommendation of my parents. I definitely did not regret it, and the price of 16,000 CZK is not very competitive in Prague. The training began with a lecture by Mr. Kačinec (the owner) on the basics of vehicle operation and the overall introduction to the training. The introductory lesson was fun and the information was presented very catchy. In order to learn the theory, you need to buy a textbook for about 250 CZK, from which you learn the rules, you do not attend mandatory lessons and it is a form of self-study. I consider the concept of learning to be a great one, since it was absolute freedom and I had mastered the rules before the first drive, i.e. I sat behind the wheel with at least theoretical knowledge, whereas in a standard driving school you drive even if you have no idea about the rules; here you have the opportunity to prepare. My teacher was Mr. M. Jabůrek, whom I cannot but recommend. He has a phenomenal approach and devotes himself to the student to the maximum. He explained everything I didn't know in a COOL way and even showed me where necessary. I was looking forward to the rides. During the rides, I recommend going to AŠ for consultations, where you can ask anything and it will be explained to you clearly. After the rides, you have to pass an oral exam on the rules to be allowed to take the theoretical questions. You can go to the oral exam earlier if you are sure that you know the rules well enough. My recommendation is to go to consultations and even just listen to what questions are the most common. There are about 15 of them, and if you learn them, you are done. Otherwise, everything went well on the first try and without a problem.
What I would criticize is the outdated website and false information; you won't learn much from the website, so I recommend coming in person or calling. It's not my experience, but some classmates weren't so lucky with their teachers and the changes were difficult in a few cases, in others the teacher only had 1 lesson free per month. That's why I recommend doing the paperwork with this driving school during the winter, because there aren't that many students and the teacher I recommend only drives during the winter, i.e. around November to March/April. And also a downside: there aren't that many cyclists, scooters, etc. on the road. Believe it or not, it really does a lot.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I graduated from the driving school a few years ago and even after some time I remember it very positively. I had the opportunity to learn from Mr. Bílek, who was patient, professional and always able to explain everything clearly.
I appreciate that the school's approach is based on quality preparation - if the owner of the driving school does not consider you sufficiently prepared and does not test you, he simply will not let you take the exams. And I think that is right, because it is primarily about safety and confidence when driving.
I am sorry to see some negative reviews, because my experience was very good. I was 100% satisfied with the quality of the teaching and the overall approach and I can recommend the driving school with a clear conscience. Thanks to this driving school, I now drive all over Europe without any worries.

I signed up for a driving school rather hastily – I chose the first one I had nearby, and in retrospect I see that it was a mistake. The registration and theory were fine, the two hours with Mr. Kačinetz were quite pleasant, he made a nice impression and was able to lighten things up a bit. But the problem arose when they assigned me an instructor for driving.
I got Mr. Chlubna. From the first phone call he was unpleasant and made it clear that planning anything in advance was annoying for him. In the first lesson he immediately tested us on technical details and commented on anything we didn't know in a style that said we had no business in a driving school. The next drives were similar – a minimum of explanations, but a lot of criticism, ridicule and negative comments. The atmosphere in the car was really unpleasant, he constantly complained about the people around him, the students, everything. The turning point came when he told me, quite seriously, that I was already halfway through the driving and that from now on he wouldn't tell me anything at all. That he wouldn't comment on my mistakes or the right things, he would just sit there. That was the moment for me when I realized that it was absolutely useless with him and that I would never really learn to drive with him.
I asked for a change and luckily I got Mr. Jabůrek, who was the complete opposite. He was patient, kind and willing to practice everything I needed with me. The atmosphere in the car changed completely and I finally started to really learn to drive. Thanks to him, I managed all the remaining driving and I felt like I was really moving forward.
After the driving, I had a theory test at the driving school, which they usually do before registering for the final exams so that they don't send someone who knows absolutely nothing. That was fine. The negative experience came only after the driving school assigned me a date for the final exam. The whole time I was counting on driving with my instructor, Mr. Jabůrek, as he and others called me. But a few days before the exam, I randomly called him and he told me that he wasn't at work that day and that I would be driving with someone completely different. I had never officially heard of driving schools, and that seemed very unprofessional to me.
I passed the theory on my first try. But that day, I met Mr. Bílek for the first time during the driving test, with whom I was supposed to take the exam. Unfortunately, we ran into a commissioner who was extremely strict - he kicked all twelve people out. Me specifically for a small thing: according to him, I drove too close to the curb in one section. Then I had to take two more mandatory conditioning drives with Mr. Bílek, which I had to pay extra for, because otherwise this driving school won't let me retake the exam. I was quite disappointed because it is mandatory and regardless of how well you drive. But I managed it on the second attempt with Mr. Bílek, and I also rate his approach very positively – he was calm, helpful and knew how to give advice.
Overall, my experience with this driving school was very contradictory. Thanks to Mr. Jabůrek and Mr. Bílek, I finally successfully passed the driving school, but the first half of the rides with Mr. Chlubna were pure stress and unnecessarily wasted time for me. I was also negatively affected by the fact that I only found out at the last minute that I would be taking the tests with someone completely different, and also by the mandatory payment of conditioning rides after a failed test. If I had to recommend this driving school, it would only be if you arrange a specific instructor in advance – otherwise you may end up with someone who will rather disgust you with the entire training.

The worst experience ever. They taught me absolutely nothing at this “driving school”. Instead of practical advice, the owner constantly suffocated me with pointless oral exams, as if I were being interrogated. The rides were scheduled with outrageous intervals, so that I forgot everything in between. Exam dates? Chaotic and unnecessarily lengthy. A waste of time, money and nerves. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.
By the way, I transferred to another place and it was the best decision for me!

Well.. I have personal experience with the driving school, it seems quite dubious, but I didn't have a major problem. That changed only after a few years, when I confirmed what I had seen several times before. The instructor with the student inside completely shamelessly drives onto the sidewalk and goes to take care of what is probably private business. So this is what is taught in this driving school? The instructor and the driving school are supposed to set an example and respect the law, what should the student take from this situation? That parking on the sidewalk is normal? Of course, I am considering reporting the offense to the relevant authorities.

I can't rate the driving school, but I'm writing this review based on the driving school's vehicle, which drove past me with a cloud of black smoke - the injectors, it looks suspicious.

I can only recommend the driving school. I drove with Mr. Chlubna and was completely satisfied. When I read some reviews, I feel like some people had a completely different instructor – Mr. Chlubna was always helpful, patient and accommodating. I appreciated that he remembered details about me and my work, which made the lessons more personal. This driving school is great for those who want to work on themselves, take feedback and really want to learn how to drive – not for those who think that paying for the course is the end of the story. A great choice for people with self-reflection, common sense and a sense of humor.
