AMOS Driving School

A great driving school with a friendly approach. Right from my first visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the secretary, Ms. Hurtová, who explained the entire system to me in detail and tried to be accommodating. During the driving school, it was no problem to call her and ask her to sign up for a lecture or to answer questions. Thank you very much for that. Of the teachers, I would like to highlight Mr. Hnilička, who went with me for almost all the driving lessons and I was always completely satisfied with his friendly approach. He willingly explained everything to me without unnecessary shouting or swearing. He always helped me plan the trips. I would also like to mention Mr. Hurt, who was my support during the final exams (both for the tests and the trips), a very nice and friendly person with a sense of humor. Ms. Fenclová, who went with me for the exams, was also a great support for me during the final exams. I can only recommend the driving school.

Amos Driving School is a small, family-run business with a friendly approach. I have an excellent experience with instructor Štěpánek. He was flexible with his time: lessons even started at 6:30 am. I appreciate his individual approach. We repeatedly trained my driving deficiencies. The driving school took place all over Prague, so I had the opportunity to try out different types of traffic situations. Mr. Štěpánek is extremely patient, which is the main reason why I would go to him a second time.

I recently successfully passed my exams and with that my training at this driving school ended for me. Mr. Hurt is a very nice, likeable person and he definitely has a good sense of humor, as does the secretary, who was always willing to help with everything. However, I cannot say the same about the teacher Štěpánek, who did not forget to admonish me for every big or small mistake and since I am a very nervous person, I went to every ride even more nervous because of this. What Mr. Štěpánek has to say, however, is that he really prepares you for the exams well, we really drove through all the possible traffic-complicated places in Prague and perhaps thanks to his strictness, I was always on my guard and did not have the feeling that "I can easily handle it all". Overall, I am rather satisfied, although it could have been better, but it could have been worse and I believe that driving experiences vary depending on who has which teacher 🙂.

Amos Driving School is a smaller driving school with a human and pleasant approach, which provides excellent instruction for future drivers. The price corresponds to the quality. Special thanks go to Mr. Hurt, who was always calm and helpful during the drive, and he definitely had a sense of humor :D. Thanks must also go to the lovely secretary. I can only recommend the driving school :))

I took driving lessons here about 3 years ago during Covid. At the time, I thought this driving school was quite affordable for Prague, although now the price is about twice as much. But it depends on everyone, how big their budget is to be able to afford it. For me, however, the teaching method was excellent and after about 4-5 months of the course, I left the driving school as a fairly competent driver of group B. The driving school teacher trusts even less competent people very much and sometimes gives them quite difficult routes to master, which in my opinion are needed. I also had to park at least 3 times for almost every ride and even today I have practically no problem with parking even after a few months of driving. Communication was also top notch and I never had a problem with arranging another lesson, the teacher was very flexible and always accommodated me. For me, a very professional approach, which is currently more expensive, but very high quality. If I were to take one minor disadvantage, it would be driving with only a diesel engine (Toyota is petrol and Skoda is diesel) and after a successful driving school, one may have a little problem with shifting gears on a petrol variant. For example, I was used to starting off only with the clutch, because the engine was very powerful and I never felt the need to step on the gas. But it is also about some self-taughtness :-).

It was GREAT! I can only recommend Amos Driving School and not only Mr. Tvrdík, as an instructor/teacher, but also the entire team of Amos Driving School. I am almost forty years old and I have had absolutely no experience with driving a car or other motor vehicles. However, mainly thanks to the professional and calm approach, I gained the necessary confidence and basic knowledge of safe driving or road traffic rules. However, under the guidance of Mr. Tvrdík, I successfully passed both the test and, most importantly, the final exam or driving test for the first time. The initial fear of driving was gradually replaced by enthusiasm and excitement for each next drive. Now all that remains is to transfer everything that Mr. Tvrdík taught me into everyday operation. If you are looking for a good and professional driving school where they will teach you something, do not hesitate to contact Amos Driving School.

I can only recommend this driving school to everyone. Everything I needed to know about cars was explained to me in a great way. I was guided through the practical lessons by a pleasant and patient teacher who led me to successfully passing the final exams.

I would like to thank the great and professional approach of the entire team at AMOS driving school, who took me under their wing after a terrible experience with harassment at a driving school in Beroun. The teacher was ALWAYS kind, nice, never lost his temper and was extremely patient. Thanks to his approach to students, I got the courage to get behind the wheel again. If it weren't for this helpful driving school, I would probably never finish driving school. Last but not least, everyone was a huge support on the day of the final exams. Huge thank you! ❤️👍🏻

Excellent driving school :) Thanks to its location, it allowed me to experience traffic problems, from which, thanks to the instructors, I did not bring stress or aversion to driving, but rather lessons and the ability to react to these situations. The whole thing is under the thumb of nice, pleasant and rationally thinking people. I am really glad that I went with Amos.
