I chose BK driving for a number of reasons. As a foreigner, I felt intimidated by going through the driver's license process in Czech. So the school has a driver's course in English where the seminar is in English as well as the driving lessons which number 14 in total. Plus the school is highly recommended and many foreigners in Hradec Králové use this school to help them get their license. The school provides a lot of services for the students. Online there is a bank of multiple choice questions where you can practice for the written part of the test. The school will provide a translator for the written test as well as the driving test plus their own car. The driving instruction can be for both stick shift and automatic transmission. The foreigners are taught by Filip Hatle who speaks English really well and is a great teacher. He is patient, encouraging and very friendly and has an impressive CV: he served several years in the Czech Army, he worked in law enforcement and is a driving instructor and an excellent one. Towards the end of the course Filip had to take some time off and the other instructor is Jaroslav Jelinek who is also an outstanding instructor. So if you're a foreigner in Hradec Králové, I wholeheartedly recommend this school and all the best in getting your Czech driver's license!
