Driving School Formánek

I did not have good experience with him at all.

I originally went to this driving school on a recommendation, because at first Mr. Formánek is very friendly to his students. But about halfway through the rides, he starts to be very unpleasant and claims that you will have to pay for additional rides anyway, because you won't do it the first time. The first mistakes, hesitations, etc. (logically, this is how it is when you are learning something) came behind the wheel and the teacher started to be very irritable and choleric. He was mainly concerned with not scratching his car, not about feeling comfortable behind the wheel, there was no question of any patience at all. He was able to stop the car in the middle of a hill and "tread" me with manipulative questions about the mistakes I had made. Halfway through the rides, I would usually come home from driving school crying, saying that I wanted it over with. Unfortunately, I didn't transfer to another driving school and I wasn't making any progress in driving, I was completely blocked. It was also not uncommon for the teacher to make rather tactless comments about his former students he saw on the street during the rides. My friend, who originally recommended Mr. Formánek to me, finished her driving school elsewhere because of his appalling attitude - she finished it there in peace. (When I see the other reviews, I am relieved that we were not alone in this, but at the same time I am fascinated that Mr. Formánek is still working). And even after many years, it is worth writing such a review because Mr. Formánek is really not a man in his place. I do not think it is right that he abuses his position in this way and tramples on eighteen-year-old, wide-eyed, future drivers who can hardly define themselves in a given situation.

"Autoškola Formánek guarantees you a calm instructor who will be happy to answer all your questions..." this is what their website says. However, Mr. Formánek is actually a restless, nervous instructor who, if you ask him anything during the ride, will totally yell at you that you don't know and as a bonus you will listen to a lecture that is several times wrong about how terrible our generation is and how ignorant we are. He also requires that you learn to drive before the driving school so that he has as little work with you as possible. In my case, he was very surprised that I couldn't control the car at all when he took me on a trip to Bedřichov for the second ride, when I actually sat in a car for the second time in my life. The other rides were like a roller coaster, until halfway through the training I said I was going to give up. So if you have the chance, use your common sense and definitely don't go to this man's place unless you want to listen to his insults and Country radio for 1.5 hours XD

I can recommend the driving school. My review only concerns the theory lessons with Mrs. Formánková, which were very useful. I can only recommend and thanks to the theoretical preparation I successfully passed my driving license. I can confidently RECOMMEND the driving school for myself.

I was really afraid to start driving school because.. (I put it off for 4 years)😀..that I was afraid that someone would fight me. Completely unnecessary, Mrs. Formánková is great to drive with, especially she is great, I highly recommend her!!! Only to her. Nice, kind and especially patient. You can feel such good energy from her that she could also work as a psychologist😊 you feel great, just calm. maximum satisfaction..so follow her if you are afraid of that. I heard the same thing from friends about Mrs. Bartošová and Mrs. Formánek. They say she is also very great.

Strong approach, me and a few friends were at his place and he insulted everyone, cursed and used vulgar language, often during the class we stopped somewhere and we waited half an hour before he had a coffee with a colleague, he strongly humiliates women and that they should only serve the muse, I was the only one of my friends who stuck it out with him until the end and he absolutely ruined me twice during the exam. The other friends, both boys and girls, ran away. Hands off!! The worst person I've ever met.
