Autoškola Holešovice

Giving 1 star because Google doesn’t allow me to give less than that. As a foreigner, I do not recommend this autoškola at all. Here are my experiences: 1. Lack of proper English instruction: On the first day, they promise to assign an English-speaking teacher. In reality, they don’t have a reliable one. Every few months, they hire a new teacher and let the previous one go, without caring how many lessons students have already completed. 2. No accountability: If a teacher leaves, it’s always the teacher’s fault. If you can’t adjust to the new teacher, it suddenly becomes your fault. 3. Confusing lesson setup: Sometimes they assign a Czech-speaking instructor with a translator who speaks poor English. When you make a mistake, the teacher explains it in Czech, and the translator tries to explain it in English two or three minutes later—long after the moment has passed. 4. Limited support: The school is open only six hours a week, making it nearly impossible to raise complaints. Messages are usually ignored. 5. Lesson tracking issues: Teachers keep the lesson cards meant for students, so you can’t even track how many sessions you’ve had. 6. Extremely slow progress: I enrolled in the Basic course in February 2025 (meant to finish in 110 days). It’s now the end of October, and the course is still not complete. 7. Inconsistent scheduling: You might have one driving lesson today, then wait two or three months for the next. Naturally, you forget what you learned before. Overall: This autoškola is disorganized, unreliable, and completely unsuitable for foreigners. I’ve lost both time and money — if I had to choose again, I’d rather jump off a cliff than join this driving school.

Wasted money. For example, you pay for lessons on a car with an automatic transmission , but you drive a mechanic, it's just switched by an instructor next to you. Their goal is not to teach you how to drive, but just to drive away the hours you paid for. They won't teach you almost anything.

Unfortunately, the experience with this driving school was very bad. The whole process of obtaining a driver's license incomprehensibly dragged on for almost a year and a half, mainly due to completely dysfunctional communication. The instructors responded late or not at all, which gave the impression that they were not interested in the students. The head of the driving school was unpleasant on the phone and often seemed arrogant. He repeatedly promised dates for final exams, which in the end never took place, without any explanation. In my opinion, such an approach is extremely unprofessional. Overall, I definitely do not recommend this driving school. Poor organization, zero communication and unwillingness to solve anything make the whole experience a waste of time and nerves.

Mr. Severin Martin is a very good instructor. I passed all the exams on the first try. The lessons were great, I liked everything. Communication, teaching and cooperation were at an excellent level.

I have had a very good experience with the driving school. The instructors were patient, explained everything clearly and always had a professional approach. The rides took place in a calm atmosphere, which helped me get rid of nervousness. I also appreciate the flexible ride planning and fair dealing. I recommend it to anyone who wants to prepare well for the final exams.

I had 3 very good experiences with the Driving School. I completed the training quite quickly and if you are proactive, everything can be arranged well. Including changing the teacher or timing and number of trips per week.

Finally, the training course is over, finally, because you have to wait for the start of training, then the first and then the second exam, which lasts for weeks and months, but there's nothing you can do about it, the Czech Republic has such procedures, it takes a long time to study for a driving license... I RECOMMEND THE DRIVING SCHOOL
