Driving School Jan Votruba s.r.o.

I highly recommend this driving school. I took a "big A" course with Mr. Votruba Sr., without any previous experience with a motorbike. I especially appreciated the calm and patient approach :-). At first I was a little afraid that I would have a problem with my height of 160 cm, but I passed the test without any problems on a relatively low and perfectly manageable Kawasaki Z650 :-).

In short, after being humiliated by my abilities at another driving school, I transferred to Mr. Votruba to complete my C+E. Mr. Votruba is an active person with a lot of experience. He will advise, explain, or perhaps lighten the situation with jokes or stories from his practice. Above all, WITHOUT STRESS and that's what I found here. He led me to a successful end and I can only recommend the cooperation. He helped me reach my goal, to fulfill a long-standing dream.

The cooperation with Mr. Votruba was very good. He is a professional, he can teach a lot even during the rides. If you do C etc., you will learn a lot about cars and you can use it during the exams (technology and maintenance etc.). He is flexible, friendly. I then passed the exam the first time without any problems.

I can only recommend driving with Jan Votruba Jr. After a not-so-good experience at another driving school, I really appreciate the human approach and flexibility. A really calm and nice instructor who knows what he's doing. He explains everything and helps you feel more confident behind the wheel.

Fitness rides with Jan Votruba Jr. - an excellent experience. I haven't driven for about 7 years since I got my driver's license and I was quite traumatized by driving. Thanks to the approach of Mr. Votruba Jr., with whom I rode, I overcame it. A supportive atmosphere, patience, high professionalism, helpfulness and communication, everything went great.

You do not remember me as a graduate, because I did not succeed in successfully completing the driving school. It has been several years, I needed to take a driving school course before leaving for the Netherlands, the vehicle's handling was not a problem for me, the fear of driving caused errors in my attention, I completed the driving school course, I was invited to take the exams, I mastered the theory without a problem on the first attempt, the practical part came, on the first attempt I drove over the full line and I waited several weeks for the next attempt, unfortunately the second attempt was unsuccessful, I subsequently had to travel. I remember very difficult communication and a relatively long delay between completing the course and being invited to take the exams, this fact would still be accepted by me, but I will never forget your outbursts of anger, screaming and hysterical beating on the dashboard once or even twice, I left the vehicle. I understand that it is very difficult to teach an "idiot" to drive, but on the other hand, you should be a qualified specialist who can correct your emotions, the arguments given below in the sense of "trying to help people" are relatively pointless, you were paid for the course, your task was to eliminate the "fear of driving" and properly prepare me for the exams, even a bad student speaks volumes about the abilities of the instructor, in any case, I wasted my money on the course and my experience with you is/was so bitter that I did not sign up for another driving school course.

The cooperation with Mr. Votruba was great. With good humor and humor, we sailed through the group A motorcycle course together without any problems. Mr. Votruba was very kind and helped me overcome the initial minor difficulties with controlling the motorcycle (because I am a little boy and I could only reach one toe). I would like to thank him very much for his good advice and patience and I wish the entire driving school great success. Otherwise, as far as recommendations are concerned, I highly recommend this driving school and I keep my fingers crossed for all interested parties that they will succeed and achieve their dream. :-)

Unfortunately, very poor communication. My experience is that all arrangements are made after a few phone calls (mostly emergencies...and then more and more emergencies) from the client. The instructor even failed to show up for the agreed ride once - without an apology. I don't know to what extent this is the owner's fault and to what extent the ongoing pandemic caused the situation, in any case I cannot recommend this driving school for the reasons mentioned above.

After completing my B at another driving school, I was relatively traumatized by driving school, so I was pleasantly surprised by the approach here (I did C). The lessons were calm and stress-free. 👍

Great driving school, fast communication, convenient trip planning and great preparation for final exams. I recommend them to everyone.
