Given that I have had other experiences with driving schools in previous years that tended to belittle my handicap and for a certain instructor I was the target of humiliation and insults, Autoškola Peml on the contrary provided me with excellent facilities, very good teachers and subsequent encouragement and self-confidence to successfully complete the entire driving school course. Their approach is very open, and it is best if you yourself show a willingness and desire to learn from them and gain experience during your drives. As a person with DMO, I can only thank that such a driving school exists.

My son completed a 14-day driving school for people with disabilities here this year, including driving tests. During the drives, he tried out various car modification options so that the final version would be the one that would allow him to drive independently and have it registered in his driver's license. The driving school cooperates with the Hurt vehicle modification company, with which clients also had the opportunity to speak during their stay. He highly praised the instructor's approach and his experience and advice. He was accommodated with other clients with disabilities in the driving school area with full board throughout the entire time (lunch and dinner from a local excellent restaurant, accommodation of course barrier-free). He was in contact with them even in his free time, so it was also a great social experience and he made new friends. The price for this "package of services" is higher, but it is possible to take advantage of the "Škoda řidit" project, which is offered by Konto bariery in cooperation with Škoda Auto (they don't ask much of you, the processing is relatively quick) and then the price is basically the same as for any other driving school. We gladly recommend the driving school, my son was very satisfied. That's why I'm puzzled by the negative review by Mr. Fenclik, which I don't even want to believe. This is definitely not how things work at that driving school. Of course, not every car modification is suitable for a given disability, but during the drives, different variants are tried out and the result is the optimal modification that suits the given handicap.

Unfortunately, my experience with the Peml Driving School was very negative, mainly because of the instructor's approach to me as a person with a physical disability. I have been in a wheelchair since birth, I have not had an accident. After a careful medical assessment, I received a recommendation for lessons at a driving school that has a vehicle with specific modifications. My dream is to drive my own car, which for me means a big step towards independence. I contacted the Peml Driving School because it offered modifications for people with disabilities. However, instead of a helpful approach, I was met with complete misunderstanding and unprofessionalism. At the first meeting, the instructor put me in a large van modified for quadriplegics. The vehicle had a left-hand throttle control, which is more for my right-hand side, which is affected by DMO, so the appropriate type of vehicle was not chosen. In addition, the car had brakes, had large wheels and the steering wheel was extremely heavy - which would be difficult even for a healthy person, let alone for someone with a disability. I was not sitting in my wheelchair, but on a wide seat without support. After a few seconds, the instructor concluded that “this is enough” and began to claim, without any professional basis, that I probably had no spatial perception and that because of this I would “not be able to stay in the lane”. The climax came when he asked me to drive myself up a steep hill in a mechanical wheelchair to the entrance to their guesthouse, where the driving school is located. When I hesitated – because I have bad experiences with falls in the past – he assessed it as “not thinking fast”. The whole approach was insensitive from the beginning, technically unprepared, and completely ignored the specifics of my diagnosis. Instead of finding a solution, I was met with rejection, prejudice and inappropriate comments. I am sorry that in 2025 a person with a disability has to deal with such an approach – and this from a facility that should be professionally prepared to teach people with various limitations.

I am a wheelchair user, quadriplegic..I rate it in superlatives... Mr. Bureš is an absolutely amazing instructor.. calm.. doesn't shout.. will teach... For me, a great person..Thank you very much !!! and regarding the accommodation and Mrs. Pemlova.. absolutely great family atmosphere, I can only recommend it to everyone!!!

A unique and exceptional driving school. The best driving school for the disabled. They teach people to drive even with the loss of one or two limbs. Specially modified vehicles for people with disabilities. They can arrange subsidies for new cars or for their modification.

I can't even make an appointment, I've been waiting for rides for a month and no one has called. They shouldn't be accepting so many students if they can't make it.

Professionalism and reasonable agreement in all directions. Above all, my husband and I were lucky to have a great instructor, to whom we owe a human approach and truly excellent teaching.

Complete disinterest and no communication from the driving school, I'd rather pay extra and do it somewhere else, thanks for nothing
