Today at 1:00 PM I contacted the driving school by phone with a question about registering for the course and the price. The website states that the price for foreigners is different from that for citizens of the Czech Republic, so I wanted to inquire about the details. The lady on the phone was very unpleasant and arrogant. She laughed and asked what I actually expected if I did not have Czech citizenship. I stated that I have permanent residence in the Czech Republic and have lived here for more than 10 years. However, her reaction was again mocking and told me, “the price might be the same as for Czechs, if I am good” I consider such behavior unprofessional and inappropriate 🥲

your reaction is a bit distorted. The price list is clearly given and a citizen of the Czech Republic is a citizen who has an identity card, not a residence permit.
We are a driving school that drives with a smile and without stress, so it was not mockery, but a smile. I do not know arrogance, I do not use it and your explanation of the situation over the phone is wrong.
I have quite a lot of students, foreigners of any nationality and as you can see from the reviews, no one has had a problem with my smile or arrogance yet.
But your pressure and actions after my explanation seemed unreasonable to me. I think you have more than enough driving schools to choose from and I am sorry that you explained the whole situation incorrectly.
I apologize for this. :-).

After searching for driving schools in Prague, I came across this driving school by chance and honestly I couldn't have made a better choice. Ms. Vitovská is a great teacher. She will explain everything to you calmly, she has great patience and you will have a pleasant conversation in a friendly manner. If you are looking for a driving school and live on the other side of Prague or even outside of Prague, it is really worth the commute. Thanks for everything. :)

I recommend Helena Driving School to everyone, especially those who are not very confident in driving or, like me, decided to do it at a later age. You will find a truly individual approach here, the instructors explain everything in theory and practice and have admirable patience, it is clear that they care about their students (in the context of other larger driving schools, this is a big advantage). Special thanks go to Mr. Truneček, who did not give up on me, although I was very worried about the traffic at first and always supported me in everything. I finally passed the test and the drive for the first time and, more importantly, I have experience of driving in the center of Prague, which is priceless :))

Great driving school, both theory and driving were always explained very well. The advantage is the possibility of online theory lessons, Mrs. Helena explains the theory in a professional manner and also knows how to attract attention, whether with an occasional joke or an example from practice, so the theory is remembered better right away. I always liked to come back and look forward to driving with Mr. Truneček. We started gradually and he taught me all the basics very well even before we started driving on larger roads and intersections, so I didn't have to be afraid of anything afterwards. He approached everything calmly during the drives, when I made a mistake he calmly instructed me and explained what happened, what was wrong, and what to watch out for next time. He is really nice and I had a good time talking to him during the drives. I will only remember it in good terms and I will miss the drives, it was great! Thank you very much

I can only recommend the driving school! A big plus is the theory lessons, which take place online in the evenings. Ms. Helena explains the material clearly and concisely, often with good real-life examples, which makes everything easier to remember.

If there was a Michelin star for driving schools, this one would get it. The instructors have incredible patience – seriously, they should lend them out to families with small children. They explain everything so clearly that even my dog would understand. I finished the driving school without any damage to my health, mental state or body, which I consider proof that they are really good. Thank you very much to Mrs. Helena Vitovská who taught me everything

After choosing from several driving schools in Prague 9, I chose Helena driving school based on reviews. The people who work at the driving school, both Ms. Vitovská and Mr. Šesták, are professionals in their field. The theoretical parts were always very thorough with Ms. Vitovská, everything was explained in detail and repeated several times if necessary, no topic was omitted, and Ms. Vitovská really makes sure that every student at her driving school is carefully theoretically prepared for driving. I took the driving lessons with Mr. Šesták. He is a strict but fair teacher. Where else should a teacher be strict than in a driving school? After all, an inexperienced person behind the wheel can cause fatal consequences with his mistakes. His approach is great. He is objective, he always tried to explain everything to me several times, to understand my sometimes strange driving style, and to constantly improve my driving with his advice. He never gave up on me and always tried to positively support me that we would manage everything - in the end, we did. 🤩 I am very grateful to Mrs. Vitovská and Mr. Šesták for their dedicated time, experience, energy and helpfulness in everything. I recommend this driving school to everyone!!!!

I have to join all the satisfied students of this driving school. The theoretical preparation was informative, but also fun, and before the tests, Mrs. Vitovská personally took care of us so that we could handle everything properly. I had the driving lessons with Mr. Šesták, and even though it was a bit of a struggle at the beginning, because it's quite a dressage with him, I have to say that I am very grateful for him, the guy simply knows what he is doing and knows his stuff. I definitely recommend it and I recommend being active in your approach to driving school, you can even enjoy it :)

After a previous bad experience with a driving school, I have to say that I am really glad that I chose Autoškola Helena. Ms. Vitovská is an incredibly great and patient instructor. If you are afraid of driving, she will show you that there is nothing to be afraid of. I recommend it to everyone! Individual approach and especially great theoretical preparation. Theory lessons are conducted really well - using specific examples and using maps, so you can easily remember everything.
