Horrible experience. Don't waste your time and money. Instructor has no patience and speaks in a very slurred and quiet voice. UPD. Lots of "Z" letters at the back of her table. In a war time she would just put all of the "zacatecnik" signs out to show her position. UPD 2. Owner just replied saying what I wrote is absurd. "Dear" owner absurd is when you sent me home on my FIRST lesson just because I am tall (192 cm) saying that I wouldn't be a good fit for a car. This is what absurd and discrimination. Poor people who go to your "school". Shame!

The best driving school I could have chosen! I thank Mrs. Havlíčková from the bottom of my heart, who is truly a person in the right place. I had the honor of first driving with Mr. Paul, who is a great and very patient teacher. However, I was a bit of a special case, so for the second half of the driving I switched to Mrs. Havlíčková, who figured out "how to do it for me". I really panicked and did not believe that I would ever be able to pass the final driving tests. However, Mrs. Havlíčková got under my skin, asked me the right questions during the driving tests and made me think deeply about where the problem was in my driving and ultimately overcome it. I still have a lot of lessons to learn before I become a Driver, but thanks to her I am a great beginner and I passed the final driving test on the first attempt. I also thank you for the great materials and theoretical instruction that the driving school provided us to prepare for the theoretical part of the exam. THANK YOU! 🥹🩵

I can recommend! Mrs. Helena, with whom I drove, is, despite the reviews, a very human and experienced instructor. I am very busy and do not have much time, despite that we had rides at regular intervals and they were always pleasant. We drove at almost every time of day and weather and I never felt pressured by the teacher. It is a school for ADULTS, so learning and careful preparation are mainly about you. But everyone gets the opportunity to become a driver without exception! The closer the exams were, the more the instructor paid attention to me. She never ignored my frequently repeated questions. It is also necessary to mention the location of the school, thanks to it you really look at the traffic and prepare for it. Summary: ➕Friendly and professional approach ➕Possibility to choose the intensity of lessons ➕Possibility to discuss individual issues in depth with an experienced instructor ➕Location in the center ➖This driving school is not for people who are not independent and neglect preparation

I can only recommend the driving school. I always looked forward to the lessons, whether theory or driving. The theory was comprehensive and I took away a lot of information from it. The driving dates could be adjusted to my already busy schedule and I really appreciate that. I took the theory and driving lessons with Helena Havlíčková. I really appreciate her approach and patience, despite my failures behind the wheel and I'm glad she didn't give up on me and in the end we even managed the finals. 😁 Thank you very much for everything.

I highly recommend this driving school to everyone. The instructor Helena Havlíčková was incredibly patient, she always explained everything to me well and paid attention to safety. The theory lessons before I even started driving were very beneficial and nice. The driving school tried to accommodate me in everything. Thanks to the approach of the instructor Helena, I now really enjoy driving and I left the driving school with the feeling that they taught me everything I needed to know and be able to do - and currently, when I drive, this is only confirmed in practice. I know that there is always something to learn, but thanks to the approach I received there, I feel good behind the wheel. I highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for a driving school - even those who are afraid or worried about driving.

Mr. Instructor Paul is not only an excellent teacher, but also a great and patient car partner who can support you and driving under his guidance is stress-free. With Ms. Helča, I experienced theory lessons full of fun, but at the same time led by a firm hand, so you really learn from them. I highly recommend and thank you :)

Great driving school, I did a 3-month student course and drove with the owner Helena Havlíčková. They gave me enough theory lessons, but you can't count on learning everything there, on the contrary, you have to learn it at home and ask questions or repeat it in class. As for the health science lessons, I also learned useful things there and I tried a lot of them practically in class. And now the most important thing - driving. I really enjoyed them, even though sometimes it was quite stressful, the teacher always gave me advice and when necessary, she threatened or scolded me and I suddenly stopped making those mistakes. Great driving school, she prepared me perfectly for the exams, gave me a great foundation and I really enjoyed it. Thank you.

I recommend it to everyone who wants to learn to drive. Especially to those who go into it with lower self-confidence (because they are afraid of driving/controlling a car, because they are learning to drive "late", because someone told them they are not capable of it...). Slowly, calmly, methodically you will learn to do simple tasks. Both instructors I took are nice, have a prepared methodology, give you full attention, remain calm, and support your self-confidence. You can clearly see what you are improving in and what you need to work on - you are simply on a well-run course with feedback and teachers who really want to help you start driving and give you good habits. In the car and during the theoretical lessons, you can ask anything, add to it, repeat it, without stress. In a few days I will go to collect my driving license - I send my thanks mainly to Stand, i.e. Mr. Pence, who led me for most of the course.

A very unpleasant experience, I would definitely not recommend the driving school! I recommend choosing another school with a more professional approach based on reviews or recommendations. Two years ago, I took about 14 practical driving lessons with Helena Havlíčková at Heleautoškola Karlín. Apart from the fact that Mrs. Havlíčková was extremely unsympathetic to me from the beginning, the lessons were manageable until the point when a person could - I just had to not be too conflicted and pretend that I found Mrs. Havlíčková's humiliating stories about the "incompetence" of other students funny. When at one point it happened that I was not moving as quickly as would have been appropriate, Mrs. Havlíčková started to be very unpleasant. She constantly accused me of not preparing theoretically, which was not true, and while driving, in addition to driving, she would test me on random topics from the theory (which were perhaps not even related to the traffic situation at that moment and prevented me from properly concentrating on driving). When I couldn't answer something, she took it as proof that I didn't care about driving school. During the theoretical lessons, she emphasized the importance of asking questions, but when I didn't understand a traffic situation in practice, she often refused to advise me that I should come up with a solution myself, and she didn't provide me with the necessary support in where to find information. She placed great emphasis on students being on time, and being two minutes late was a big problem for her, but when she herself arrived 15 minutes late for the driving test (and we might even finish earlier, which also happened quite often), she couldn't even apologize. If I couldn't do it in practice, she wrongly blamed me for insufficient theoretical preparation - she evidently failed to realize that even though theoretical preparation clearly supports performance in practice, for some types of actions (such as shifting gears or using pedals) practical experience is more important than deep theorizing. After the last lesson I took with her, she gave me a theoretical task - I had to draw a picture of a traffic situation regarding when to give way to the tram - and said that until I sent her the correct solution, I was not to arrange another ride. Since I didn't really understand the task assignment (and none of my parents or friends understood how exactly the task was intended), I asked Mrs. Havlíčková if she could clarify the assignment for me. I got a response from her that it was a completely trivial task and that absolutely anyone should be able to cope with it (and no clarification was given). Because at that time every other lesson with Ms. Havlíčková was frustrating and mentally demanding for me and I cried several times after the lesson, even though I was otherwise having a great day, I decided to leave the driving school and not bother with the mysterious task about trams anymore. In the end, I got my driver's license at another driving school, when I had the time again, I had an absolutely perfect experience with the driving school and I thoroughly enjoyed every ride. Compared to the other driving school, the process of arranging rides at Heleautoškola Karlín was also lengthy, the communication was unprofessional, unfriendly and often not even grammatically up to standard. As someone already mentioned here, Ms. Havlíčková also asked me what kind of sign I was and from the beginning she tried to analyze and psychologize me as a person. Even after an understandable mistake (for a beginner) like forgetting to turn on the turn signal or looking in the mirror, it forced me to deeply and internally analyze why the situation occurred and why I was unable to react to all the stimuli in traffic the way I should as a driver. (I am writing this review after a long time because when I left the driving school, I did not have the energy to keep turning the unpleasant experience over in my head)
