A very unpleasant experience, I would definitely not recommend the driving school! I recommend choosing another school with a more professional approach based on reviews or recommendations.
Two years ago, I took about 14 practical driving lessons with Helena Havlíčková at Heleautoškola Karlín. Apart from the fact that Mrs. Havlíčková was extremely unsympathetic to me from the beginning, the lessons were manageable until the point when a person could - I just had to not be too conflicted and pretend that I found Mrs. Havlíčková's humiliating stories about the "incompetence" of other students funny. When at one point it happened that I was not moving as quickly as would have been appropriate, Mrs. Havlíčková started to be very unpleasant. She constantly accused me of not preparing theoretically, which was not true, and while driving, in addition to driving, she would test me on random topics from the theory (which were perhaps not even related to the traffic situation at that moment and prevented me from properly concentrating on driving). When I couldn't answer something, she took it as proof that I didn't care about driving school.
During the theoretical lessons, she emphasized the importance of asking questions, but when I didn't understand a traffic situation in practice, she often refused to advise me that I should come up with a solution myself, and she didn't provide me with the necessary support in where to find information. She placed great emphasis on students being on time, and being two minutes late was a big problem for her, but when she herself arrived 15 minutes late for the driving test (and we might even finish earlier, which also happened quite often), she couldn't even apologize. If I couldn't do it in practice, she wrongly blamed me for insufficient theoretical preparation - she evidently failed to realize that even though theoretical preparation clearly supports performance in practice, for some types of actions (such as shifting gears or using pedals) practical experience is more important than deep theorizing.
After the last lesson I took with her, she gave me a theoretical task - I had to draw a picture of a traffic situation regarding when to give way to the tram - and said that until I sent her the correct solution, I was not to arrange another ride. Since I didn't really understand the task assignment (and none of my parents or friends understood how exactly the task was intended), I asked Mrs. Havlíčková if she could clarify the assignment for me. I got a response from her that it was a completely trivial task and that absolutely anyone should be able to cope with it (and no clarification was given). Because at that time every other lesson with Ms. Havlíčková was frustrating and mentally demanding for me and I cried several times after the lesson, even though I was otherwise having a great day, I decided to leave the driving school and not bother with the mysterious task about trams anymore.
In the end, I got my driver's license at another driving school, when I had the time again, I had an absolutely perfect experience with the driving school and I thoroughly enjoyed every ride.
Compared to the other driving school, the process of arranging rides at Heleautoškola Karlín was also lengthy, the communication was unprofessional, unfriendly and often not even grammatically up to standard. As someone already mentioned here, Ms. Havlíčková also asked me what kind of sign I was and from the beginning she tried to analyze and psychologize me as a person. Even after an understandable mistake (for a beginner) like forgetting to turn on the turn signal or looking in the mirror, it forced me to deeply and internally analyze why the situation occurred and why I was unable to react to all the stimuli in traffic the way I should as a driver.
(I am writing this review after a long time because when I left the driving school, I did not have the energy to keep turning the unpleasant experience over in my head)
