KT Driving School - Pavel Kratochvíl

If I could give this driving school 0 stars, I would, unfortunately that's not possible, so I'm forced to give 1 star, which is still too high. I'll probably start with Pavel Kratochvíl's completely unprofessional approach. Most of the lessons were planned so that he could pick up as many packages as possible and run all sorts of errands while I waited 10-20 minutes in the car. Absolutely amazing. Next, I would like to point out his emotionality and anger issues. I would never think that an instructor in a driving school would get angry at his student (customer), mock him and make passive aggressive remarks about the student not knowing how to drive. But Pavel Kratochvíl showed me that it is possible and did it every lesson. What a surprise that a person who goes to a driving school can't drive. If he's reading this, I would recommend that he change his profession. I'll probably never forget how, when I was sitting in the car for the second time, he called me Jiří from Poděbrady (he needed to do something there, of course) and was annoyed the whole time that I couldn't do it. Constant comments like "Why did you do that?" or "Jesus, do you even think, are you normal?". Unfortunately, not all of us can be as great drivers as Pavel Kratochvíl after sitting in the car for the second time and zigzagging in one of the most difficult places to drive in Prague. It was also absolutely fantastic when he got offended/angry once and said to me: "Okay, now I won't tell you anything, we'll see how far you get." Because you pay for an instructor exactly so that the offended/angry person sits silently in the car, and doesn't teach you how to drive. In addition, there was Kratochvíl's complete inability to plan lessons in any acceptable way. He kept complaining that I only had the afternoon off and that it would be more convenient for him to do it at another time because everyone wanted it at those times. What a surprise that a high school student has time mostly in the afternoon. He must have taken on a lot of people at once and then couldn't handle it. When I came to the driving school and asked how long it would take, I was told that it would take about 3/4 months. It took 6 months. I always had a ride about once every 2 weeks. I don't understand why there are so many good reviews here and I strongly suspect that they are from Kratochvíl's friends. Maybe those good reviews are only from older people. Maybe Pavel Kratochvíl only allows himself to be with teenagers who don't resist in any way, which I wouldn't be surprised about, given his constant need to prove something to himself with unpleasant remarks. I don't know if it's his complexes that are being addressed, but a therapist would be more effective. I don't write reviews, but in this case I had to because this is such a terrible service that I don't understand how it still works. Don't go here, it will be better anywhere else.

Very bad teacher, he was unpleasant from the beginning and had some offensive comment every now and then. He obviously has problems with anger and his own life. In the end I had to change driving school.

Great driving school. Solid and high-quality teaching. They have their own modern simulators, both for cars and motorcycles. And most importantly, they have a long tradition. I myself did my driving license here in 1992 and they still work well. Over 27 years of tradition. I recommend the driving school.

Unprofessional attitude towards younger students, unjustifiably angry

I am very satisfied with the driving school. I liked the instructor's approach and I appreciate that he was always calm and explained things in a calm and relaxed manner. If you try to follow his advice, he will definitely not break your head for mistakes. If you are reliable and don't worry about what you are learning, everything will go well. I took the driving school in March and have been driving ever since.

I evaluate it retrospectively, but I can only recommend it. Professional and calm approach, great preparation for real and everyday operation. :)

Absolute satisfaction, I did A1 and B here, always without any problems.

Unprofessional and arrogant attitude

Very professional approach. Mr. Kratochvíl taught me everything from the simplest things to the most difficult. Very patient and friendly approach. I recommend the driving school with all ten.

I definitely do not recommend this motorcyclist. He was strict, he did not explain anything to me calmly, it was my first time on a motorbike and he treated me as if I had been riding it my whole life and should have known how to do it by now. He shouted at me and was even rude when I made a mistake. Out of 16 rags for those few rides, I think there were about 8 of them, I would have imagined a different approach. The overall interaction with him was intense. It seems to me that he did not care whether I took the final exams or not. If only I had just paid for a replacement exam and that would have been ideal for fitness. Luckily I did it all on the first try😃 he was so phlegmatic-choleric the whole time. So in short
