I RECOMMEND! Mr. Dostál's driving school is really great. It is a driving school that will really teach you how to drive and move around in traffic with confidence. Mr. Dostál's approach is very natural, human and conscientious. He always willingly and clearly explained everything I asked. I really appreciate the individual approach - he knows you by name and surname and you definitely don't feel like you are just another student with whom he "has to go" for a drive. I really enjoyed the lessons and I passed the final test and practical driving exam the first time. He was always able to calm me down when I was driving in stressful situations. When I made a mistake, he was not rude - on the contrary, he calmly explained everything and showed me how to solve the situation correctly next time. At the same time, we drove through Prague and drove on the highway several times, which made me much calmer and more confident during the exams. Even though Mr. Dostál may seem a bit strict at first glance, rest assured that he means well to you and driving with him was fun 🙂 I can only recommend the driving school with Mr. Dostál.

Mr. Dostál is a total king. He is his own person and seems strict, but he definitely knows what he is doing. He will responsibly prepare you for everything that will happen to you as a driver. So I sign the decision to do the Dostál Driving School as a very good idea.

I would like to belatedly thank Mr. Dostál, with whom I did fitness driving in November 2023. I am a typical example of a person who took driving lessons at 18 and then almost didn't get behind the wheel for 16 years (due to a bad experience with the original driving school and subsequently my nervous dad in the passenger seat). I was afraid of driving and the longer I put it off, the more it only grew. I thought I would never learn it. I felt stupid in front of myself that my husband had to take all the trips...which led to the fact that one fine day I gathered the courage and called Mr. Dostál. I was incredibly scared, but Mr. Dostál sat with me from the first moment with his incredibly human and patient approach. When I was confused, he calmed me down. When I made a mistake, he never yelled at me, on the contrary, he explained the whole situation to me. He transferred his calmness to me, so the fear gradually began to subside. He doesn't play games, no hogo fogo, he doesn't make driving rocket science, he has very fair prices (+ I could pay with Edenred vouchers that I have from my employer, that was a nice bonus). I could choose what we would do for a given hour, which I really appreciate (e.g. we drove a specific route on the highway, to the center of Prague, around our house, etc.). Planning trips is also fine. While driving, he sometimes lights up from the window - I didn't mind it, but I guess it might for someone. Overall, my experience is very positive and I can only recommend this driving school! I'm very glad that I chose Mr. Dostal to get back behind the wheel! I'm not saying that I'm a confident driver now, but I drive regularly and on different routes, I stopped being afraid of driving, I can get where I need to go, which was complete sci-fi for me 4 months ago. I recommend! I agreed to a fitness ride with Mr. Dostál after reading the reviews here and looking for a driving school in Krč or the surrounding area. I hadn't driven in over 5 years. I needed to get back into it and not be afraid to get back behind the wheel so that my girlfriend and I could visit my parents more comfortably by car. Mr. Dostál is a man in his right place. Thanks to his patience and sometimes tougher approach, we managed to do it. We struggled a lot at the beginning with my habit of constantly frantically dropping out. Also, giving way at more complex intersections. Now you have to drive and drive. Sometimes it was a bit problematic to agree on rides. Mr. Dostál is the only one who can do it and, of course, priority is given to students from his driving school. However, we always somehow agreed and, by coincidence, thanks to work, I was able to go around noon, when there was no problem at all. Mr. Dostál and I drove through interesting places in Prague. Even the Lesser Town and the Old Town, where I was sometimes surprised that it was still possible to drive. I recommend thinking about where you will need to drive often or would like to drive in the future. Thanks to Mr. Dostal's sense of humor, I was never bored during the drive. So, in addition to knowledge about driving and cars, you will sometimes have fun or learn something interesting. Which breaks the ice or relieves stressful situations from traffic and driving. We also discussed the choice of the car brand that I wanted to buy for driving purposes. But that is a longer story and when buying used cars, I recommend a technician or someone who understands it. A little further southeast you have Budějovická Street, where you can find most ATMs. So I have never had a problem paying for rides and I always chose before driving. The prices for rides and driving school are very good in Prague. What some driving school students will appreciate is the simulator. Whether you are looking for a driving school for a group B driving license or fitness driving where you want to learn something and be ready to get behind the wheel, you have found the right place. Wishing you many kilometers and few reckless drivers!

Mr. Dostál is conscientious, direct, he explained everything I asked and really teaches me. I passed the exams the first time, which I owe to his patience and honesty.

100% human approach. Choosing this driving school is without exaggeration one of the best decisions of my life. Mr. Dostál is an excellent instructor and if you show natural effort, you will also encounter a fair amount of patience, which will allow you to improve without stress. If you are not showing effort at the moment (or your head is just foggy), you will be overcome and you will catch up. Each of us at the beginning imagines a driver's license in 2 months... so I recommend that you get rid of this idea right away, Mr. Dostál is not indifferent to the result of your exam and only registers students for the exams when they are truly ready. However, it is not just about getting a driver's license. From what I have heard from friends, I have the impression that it is not exactly standard today for a driving school to prepare drivers for all possible types of situations in traffic life. And this is exactly the kind of preparation that is successful at the Dostál Driving School. I am happy for all the hours when I got the opportunity to repeat a specific situation again until I am absolutely sure next time. I am happy for the opportunity to drive outside Prague, including on the highway. And last but not least, I, like many reviewers below, praise the atmosphere of the rides, thanks to which the student can look forward to the next ones.

A somewhat harsh approach, however, it is exactly what the students need and thanks to which everyone can pass Mr. Dostál's driving school with flying colors. When traveling, I often remember the useful advice that Mr. Dostál put to my heart and thanks to which I feel better when driving. Maybe someone will mind the approach, but if you can handle the first few rides and tune in to the same wave, the rest of the driving school will be a breeze and fun. There were 7 of us taking the exams and we all passed without any major problems. I highly recommend it!

I definitely do not recommend it. Mr. Dostál shouted at me in the car and smoked there so much that it was impossible to breathe. The whole driving school stinks of smoke. The big disadvantage is that they do not have a traffic court and they will push you straight into traffic.

What can I say... Mr. Dostál is the right person. At first glance, he may seem a bit rough, but driving with him was always fun and relaxed. He took me everywhere he could to try out all possible driving situations and I always looked forward to the rides. I'm sorry that I couldn't finish my driving school with him due to my health, because he's a really great instructor. You definitely won't regret it if you decide to take driving school with him :)

It's been a year since I took my exams, so I remembered that I owe a review. In short - finally deciding on this driving school was the best thing I could have done. Mr. Dostál is not afraid of it. He makes sure that each of his students tries out every possible situation and knows what to do. While other instructors are afraid to take students on the highway, for example, this was my third or fourth time on the highway with Mr. Dostál :D When you make the most trivial mistake somewhere, Mr. Dostál will calmly explain everything. Calmly for the hundred and fiftieth time. He will let you drive through the place where you made the mistake again. He wants you to be sure that you understand everything correctly and that you know what to pay more attention to next time, not to yell at you and beat you up for not knowing something. I passed the exam on the first attempt and during the first 4 months after it I drove almost 6 thousand km in the Czech Republic and abroad and so far I have not encountered a situation behind the wheel that I could not solve. And when I drive through Prague, I still like to remember how I once drove down this exact street with Mr. Dostál.
