As a successful graduate, I definitely recommend the Matúš Driving School in Vsetín to anyone who wants to apply for a group B driving license. It is a small driving school with an individual, professional approach, which offers many advantages.
All teaching is carried out directly by the owner of the driving school, Ing. Štěpán Matúš, with whom the student also completes all the driving tests. The engineer is a former high-ranking member of the traffic police with many years of experience and has vast knowledge and experience in the field of road traffic. Therefore, as part of the theoretical training (in his own classroom on the premises of the former Vsetín ČSAD), the student will receive, in addition to the principles of safe behavior on the road, a bonus in the form of information regarding, for example, the point system or advice on how the driver should behave in the presence of IZS units. The theoretical training also includes medical training. This practically focused course led by an experienced paramedic from the Zlín Region Medical Rescue Service is included in the price of the training.
Students undergo practical training in a Škoda Octavia II generation vehicle. The first hours of training take place on a spacious training ground located just a few steps from the classroom, which provides enough space for practicing starting, shifting and parking. In the following hours, the driving takes place mainly in the city of Vsetín or its immediate surroundings. The engineer sets the driving routes so that they correspond to the routes selected by the examiner and the student has enough opportunity to practice everything. Part of the practical training is also training in checking the car before driving. An indisputable advantage of the practical training is picking up students anywhere within a distance of 10 km from Vsetín and their subsequent transport back. This bonus service is also included in the price of the training.
However, the main advantage of the Matúš Driving School is its individual and human approach. The engineer is truly patient with his students and can understand their nervousness. He always tries to explain everything to them as clearly as possible, to meet their needs and to find the best solution for them – e.g. a suitable driving date, fitness driving or exams. If the student fails the exam, a possible remedial driving is also included in the price of the training. The individual approach of the driving school is also underlined by the fact that the lessons can be conducted in English or Polish (an additional fee is charged for this service).
From the above, it follows that in the case of the Matúš Driving School, this is an institution where the student is not just a name on a list, but a person with certain wishes and expectations. The engineer is fully aware of the importance of the students successfully passing the exam and subsequently obtaining a driving license, and therefore he approaches theoretical and practical training with the utmost responsibility and professionalism. Therefore, I have no choice but to repeat my initial recommendation in conclusion.
