OLDA Driving School

I really recommend Olda Driving School from the bottom of my heart. I went to the driving school with respect and great nervousness, especially during my pregnancy. I appreciate all the more how human and supportive the approach I experienced here was. I attended the theory once a week in their classroom and the owner, Oldřich, led it in a fun but very understandable way. He managed to maintain his natural authority while motivating us to think about things and, most importantly, study them ourselves. It wasn't just a "mandatory session", but teaching that made sense. I got an instructor, Dominik, for the rides and I was really lucky. My first rides were full of stress and the feeling that nothing was going the way I wanted. But he never threw me off, on the contrary, he supported me, patiently explained everything and gradually gave me confidence. We also had space to chat and sometimes laugh, which helped me relax a lot. I also really appreciate the understanding during my pregnancy. I felt respect and calm, which I think is often key for women. I got my driver's license on the first try and I'm not only taking home the paper, but today, after almost three months of driving independently, I can say that I feel confident and safe behind the wheel. And that is the biggest proof for me that I was really well prepared. If someone is afraid, especially a woman or a mother, there really is no point. Thank you❤️

They intersperse the theory lessons with jokes, so it's pleasant to listen to and not tedious. I rate the rides with Olda Pater Jr. very positively – no pressure, relaxed atmosphere, he explained everything necessary and gave advice. A good teacher. Even though I've had a group A and B driver's license for more than 15 years, I learned something new and refreshed some of the rules. Looking back on the driving school 15 years ago, I definitely recommend getting your driver's license in Ostrava – it gives you much more than in the surrounding cities. I can recommend the driving school and that's why I will continue here with the extension to C+E.

I recommend the driving school ;) The instructor was great, especially with a human approach and patience (yes, he taught a woman with a wheelchair 😄) He calmly, with humor, explained everything and honestly took me through the center, so the exam was fine. Absolutely great explanation of the theory directly from the owner….. The teacher, young Olda, he just teaches….. And overall everyone is really great, I can't forget Mr. Dalibor, he's just a real blast. The exams went well for the C class, you're very well informed about everything, the app is also great, there's simply nothing to complain about here, so if you really want to learn well, don't look anywhere else.

Hello everyone, training for group C, group C+E and professional training successfully completed. Now it's time for a review, because if anyone is choosing a driving school right now, then this is the right one, really, look no further and go send an application to Old! First of all, in general, the office, excellent location, everywhere around the parking lot or public transport stop, pleasant ladies who explain everything well, whether about training, exams or things about the municipality. I have never left with an unanswered question. Communication by phone and email without any problems, great. A training center at a great level, plus with its own parking lot, which absolutely everyone with a truck, but also a car or a motorbike must appreciate. I don't know where else I would have the opportunity to learn to reverse, park, simulate approaching, etc. bomb!! Plus, they have everything beautifully processed in the application so almost no paperwork or paper passes. The course of the training, the theoretical part. I was looking forward to this one the least, not because I was absolutely perfect and knew everything, I hope no driver can say that about themselves. But because I was afraid of a boring, monotonous explanation ala snake charmer. The opposite is true, the explanation was given by the owner of the driving school himself and it was something! I have never experienced such an engaging, passionate and, where appropriate, even entertaining explanation anywhere with anyone! And I took it twice in a row with class C and then class C+E. At the same time, I refreshed myself with a lot of things and to my surprise, I even learned something (what I had forgotten over the years), I would gladly do it again :). Vehicle maintenance was probably the biggest struggle for me, there it is simply purely up to you, to absorb all those questions. It was very helpful that we went through many questions during the professional training, which made my preparation much easier. Driving, super super super. Before the first drive, I was nervous, after the first drive, I was absolutely convinced that I wanted to spend the rest of my life behind the wheel, no exaggeration. I am not a special talent and in my case the instructor sweated a lot and probably aged by 1 year, but I went to the test prepared and with a sufficient dose of self-confidence. Many thanks. Especially in the C+E test, it was crazy, where there were moments that if I had sat in the instructor's place, there would have been physical violence or leaving the car :D. BUT! The instructor managed to guide me with complete professionalism and grace from my complete incompetence to the test, which I passed on the first try, thanks to his patience. Professional training, again, I can't say a bad word, the lecturer is still in the field and has, I would say, extensive experience with driving. The training corresponded to this, no boring explanation of laws, decrees and regulations, but always the practical perspective, personal experiences and experiences that they really gave me. Just like in the case of the owner of the driving school, super exciting, informative and thanks to that I feel prepared to perform the profession. I am looking for a moment in my memory, or anything negative, let it not be only positive, but it seems that my experience is only positive. I can only recommend the Olda driving school and as I wrote in the introduction, look no further, you have just found the right driving school in Ostrava that will make you a DRIVER.

Great driving school, after successfully completing the course for group B, I would also like to express my opinion. The theoretical part with Mr. Pater is not only informative but also provides all the information with humor and he really knows how to teach and prepare. The practical training with Olda Jr. was really calm (Olda must have nerves of steel 😂), friendly and humane approach, always arranging rides so that the date suits both parties. In short, compared to another unnamed driving school, the people from Olda driving school are professional and kind.

I completed both car and motorcycle training at OLDA driving school and I couldn't be more satisfied! The instructors were patient, professional and always willing to explain everything. The theoretical instruction was understandable and the practical driving took place in a great atmosphere, thanks to which I felt confident and gradually gained self-confidence behind the wheel and on a motorcycle. I appreciate the individual approach and fair dealing. I can only recommend the driving school to everyone who is looking for quality training and pleasant instructors!

I got my professional driving instructor certificate through this driving school. They help and facilitate the administration, they guide the learning correctly and the practical training was in a relaxed atmosphere - which is generally also the case at the training ground in Zárubek. Moreover, Mr. Patera gave a clear impression that it is not just a transaction, but that a person goes into "operation" better/more responsible.

I definitely recommend OLDA driving school! It was a great experience and everything was perfect! I completed the training for group B and I would like to thank the entire staff of the driving school. Very polite office workers, interesting theory lessons🤓 The cars are new and clean. Special thanks to my driving instructor - Dominik Pater. Great attitude, all the driving in a calm and positive atmosphere. I was terribly afraid of cars, but with such a teacher I forgot about that fear! He explains and teaches excellently, and when possible, he even jokes😂 It is clear that he cares about his students and that he really wants to pass on all the knowledge he has to them. I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity to complete this driving school and I think that I definitely could not have found a better driving school. I wish you further prosperity and success!
