I signed up for the driving school on the recommendation of friends. I got Mr. Chaloupek as an instructor and I think I couldn't have found a better one anywhere. There was never any shouting or swearing during the rides. When I messed up something or wasn't sure, he always calmly explained what was wrong. I felt comfortable during the rides and actually looked forward to them. We always had a nice chat, which was really nice. It was clear that he really wanted to teach me how to drive, and not just sit there, say something, take the money and bye. I definitely think that this driving school can prepare you well for the final rides - I managed them myself without any major complications. I owe this to the quality of the training, but of course also to my humility and effort to learn something, which some people clearly lack in the reviews. This is how I would summarize my experience with this driving school.

At first glance, this driving school looks like any other. Smiles, promises and advertisements about the “best and most humane approach”, but after a while you find out that it really isn’t. The staff is stuck in the last millennium with their teaching. Mrs. Šimarová on the theory and Mrs. Hejčová on the simulator are horrible and want you not to take the final exam and continue to pay them for fitness rides. If you have enough money and decide to go to this terrible driving school, you can’t avoid Hejčovce. When you’re on the simulator, slam the handbrake (she likes it very much and it excites her). Have a nice day, Hajzl

I took my driving lessons at this driving school with Mr. Chaloupka. The lessons were calm and without shouting, he always explained everything to me and I looked forward to these drives. I passed my exams successfully the first time, thanks to Mr. Chaloupka, whom I can only recommend!

I'm writing a couple of years late. (If I hadn't come across the driving school and remembered everything again, I might not even be writing). I chose this driving school 9 years ago and I still don't understand why I didn't switch. Ms. Šimarová's behavior was disastrous, she was grumpy, never explained anything much, and if you did something wrong - she would yell at you for "three periods". She was an expert at filing nails in the car, I wish she could behave in the same way. I'm still afraid to drive around Brno or other cities and I'm thinking about fitness rides. But this time I'll read all the reviews carefully.

I got a recommendation for the driving school myself and I can't complain. After the first session with Mrs. Šimarová, I immediately decided that I would do driving school here and I couldn't have made a better choice. For me, the work was excellent, the communication and the rides with Mr. Chaloupek were great, I learned a lot thanks to him. He was patient and always explained everything to me. If I had to decide again, I wouldn't hesitate and go straight away. Thank you again ❤️

Terrible experience - from this driving school I had to transfer to Mr. Haler in Ivančice (highly recommended). The lessons started on the simulator - a total of 5 hours out of a total of 14, when the lady turned on the simulator program for me, closed the door for me and went to have a smoke ;)) After very useful hours spent on the simulator, I went with the owner's wife to drive in the car. The first thing she started testing me was the lights - I didn't know. She arrogantly and disgustingly replied that I should have learned this a long time ago. I cried the whole ride - the instructor came up with a solution -> I parked and had to cry while she was on the phone. Of course, I couldn't drive right away (this happens to me even now, and I've had my driver's license for over a year), the instructor scolded me and said that I didn't have the basics and that she would send me back to "train" on a simulator...:::))))) (by the way, I was sitting in a car for the first time in my life). I'm not a sensitive person, but I always left the driving lessons at this driving school crying hysterically. I managed 2 hours of driving in a car and left. I won't even mention the amount we got back (ridiculous). The instructor ended this great experience in a phone call with my parents by commenting that I simply don't have the skills to drive a car. I've had my driver's license for over a year now and I use my car every day. I'm very grateful that my parents helped me get out of this "comfortable" driving school and get my driver's license anyway. DON'T GO HERE, DON'T SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE! If the instructor is reading this, I'm just saying that I have the skills to drive a car. <3

Very bad experience! If you are looking for a driving school that cares about its clients and provides quality instruction, I definitely do not recommend this driving school. Unfortunately, my experience was very negative. Even when I decided to change driving schools because I did not want to spend so much time only on a simulator instead of real driving, I was met with complete reluctance and unprofessional attitude. Even though I expressed my wish several times that I would like to go into traffic and start learning to drive on a real road, I was still forced to only practice on a simulator. When I decided to switch to another place, their reaction was very rude and impolite, which discouraged me even more. Moreover, even though I have never driven a manual, I was automatically told that I should switch to a car with an automatic transmission because "I can't shift gears". This attitude is completely incomprehensible to me, when I have never driven a manual car in any car. I regret choosing this driving school, and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone looking for a real and professional approach to teaching.

The theoretical instruction was standard. This was followed by a simulator, which I postponed due to a planned stay abroad. After returning, I contacted the driving school, saying that I would like to continue. The management's response was unprofessional - the communication was rude, with personal insinuations, and there was generally no willingness to resolve the situation constructively. After paying the rest of the course fee, I completed several hours on the simulator, which turned out to be ineffective - almost unprofitable for teaching practical driving. I was then assigned an instructor. The first rides took place, but gradually arranging further dates became more complicated - I was repeatedly told that the car was not available. The lessons were therefore irregular, sometimes with a gap of three weeks between rides. A beginner with such a schedule will have difficulty acquiring the necessary skills. In addition, the planned rides were shortened, for example, due to the instructor's delay, I completed only ten minutes of the originally planned hour and a half. After reporting these problems to the management, I was assigned another instructor. The second instructor was flexible in terms of time and willing to drive on weekends, which was a significant improvement. However, his teaching style was strongly authoritarian, vulgar, with a lack of patience and support during learning. Any questions or minor mistakes were perceived as failures, which created a tense atmosphere in which it was difficult to concentrate and improve. After some time, I took the exam. I successfully passed the theoretical part with full points, but not the practical part, failing three times. Given the course of the lessons so far, I decided to change the driving school. When picking up the documentation for the transfer, the management had an inappropriate "farewell" - instead of simply handing over the documents, I went through an unnecessarily long and unprofessional monologue with personal attacks, which was clearly intended to discourage me from transferring. After moving to another driving school, the approach to the lessons was significantly better. The instructors were professional, the lessons had a structure, and I passed the exams on the first try. Pohodová driving school attracts with its low price, which is compensated by less effective teaching, problematic approach from the instructors and management, and unnecessary hours on the simulator. For students who expect high-quality and systematic teaching, I would recommend considering another driving school.

If you are looking for a driving school that will not only teach you how to drive, but also prepare you for any situation that you may encounter on the roads, I can highly recommend this driving school. I drove with instructor Šimarová, who knows what she is doing and can explain everything to you perfectly and prepare you for everything perfectly. She was able to adapt each lesson to my abilities and gradually moved me forward step by step. Even though I was nervous at first, her calm and supportive approach helped me gain confidence behind the wheel. The theoretical part of the course was well-written. They did an excellent job of explaining the rules of the road and how to behave on the road. In addition, they provided us with a lot of useful materials that were also great for home preparation. The car we drove was also a big plus. It was in perfect technical condition, which gave a feeling of safety while driving. I also appreciate that the vehicle did not include reversing sensors or a camera, which you can do without the help of a car and only with a proper explanation from the instructor how to park properly. The driving school was very accommodating to me regarding dates. Thanks to this, I was able to coordinate my driving lessons with the school. I also appreciate the willingness to answer any questions and provide advice outside of lessons. The result? I went to the exams prepared and without stress, because during the course they gave me not only technical skills, but also enough self-confidence. I rate the driving school 5/5 stars and recommend it to anyone looking for quality instruction, a friendly approach, and perfect preparation for a driver's license.

For me, it's a perfect driving school, family-run, no meat-packing plant. I did B, A2, then A and finally D here. I'm still planning to do BE. Instructor Luboš is strict, but he gave me so much behind the wheel of a bus that 10 years of driving a car didn't give me. Petr is a god when it comes to motorbikes. The owner of the driving school is a friendly guy with whom you can agree on everything. If someone expects them to pay tuition and do the sento for them, then unfortunately it doesn't work that way behind the wheel. But if someone wants it and has a little interest, they will teach them to drive. Not that they will give them a driver's license....
