Petr Drbola Driving School

I did my first driving lesson with Mr. Drboly, but his approach was a complete disaster and I would not recommend him to anyone. The instructor is a hot-tempered person who, instead of patiently explaining mistakes, chooses the path of yelling speeches about how today's students are "stupid, incompetent and can't think". Instead of support, you will only get scolding and insults. The atmosphere in the car was incredibly tense the whole time. The highlight of everything was when the instructor arbitrarily ended the ride halfway through the paid time. He forced me to turn the car around and drive it to my house early, saying that he "simply has no nerves for me anymore" and refuses to continue the lesson. I consider it an absolute professional low point to throw a student out of his own paid lesson because the instructor can't control his emotions. The positive local reviews that rave about his "holy patience" are in complete contradiction to my experience, the experiences of my acquaintances and other reviewers who describe exactly the same behavior. Either Mr. Drbola has lost his mind (which I strongly doubt), or these texts are written by acquaintances or on order. If you want to learn to drive calmly and without unnecessary insults, look for another driving school. People's nonsense about the instructor having to be a nervous wreck is just a beautiful phenomenon of Stockholm syndrome.

Unfortunately I can't recommend it. As others have written here, Mr. Drbola really loses his temper easily. This approach may work for some, but if you want to learn to drive without unnecessary stress, look elsewhere.

I have had a very good experience with Mr. Drbola. He treated me patiently and with respect throughout the training. Even when I made mistakes, he always explained to me clearly what was wrong and how to fix it. We focused on what I was not good at, and gradually we mastered everything together. His theoretical lessons also helped me a lot - thanks to them, I didn't have to study for the tests in any special way, I just had to pay attention. If you are looking for someone who has really deep knowledge, practical experience and wants to pass on more than just "how to get a driver's license", then you have come to the right place with Mr. Drbola. He has many years of experience and has also worked as a commissioner, which is not often seen these days. I definitely recommend him and thank you for the wonderful driving school!
