RZ Group Driving School

I took the training at this driving school in the spring of this year. I signed up for the Čásenský driving school, which you will later find out is under the RZ Group company. The instructor himself seemed easy-going at first. However, he gradually became very unpleasant, in certain situations he would start shouting and start discussing political issues with you every now and then, which he saw on billboards and swearing at Ukrainians, instead of fully focusing on your driving. I honestly had to learn most of the things by self-studying from the textbook and using instructional videos. However, the worst part comes with the test itself. Most likely, your instructor will not drive with you, but the owner of the RZ Group himself. I drove with him on both attempts and had never seen him in my life before. They also gave me a worse car, which I was not used to at all, and which, moreover, did not work well with the mirror rotation. In addition, before the practical exam, the owner of the driving school made fun of some students, teased them about their facial expressions, constantly made some insinuations, etc. Absolutely unacceptable client attitude. You are treated more like a child than a client who has paid a lot of money for training. After my mistake during the second attempt, because of which I did not complete the attempt successfully, he started shouting at me. People like that should not teach in a driving school and ideally should get some basic pedagogical education. They probably do not realize that people are just learning, and that stress plays a big role in this. Or maybe they realize it all too well and abuse it. The driving school is tempting with its cheap price, but they will then collect the money on expensive exams. The commissioners from the city office themselves were also a disaster. Both of them were talking on their own phones with friends before the drive (practical test), when one of them was able to solve some private matter in the car for maybe 10 minutes. A ruthless and unprofessional approach that only contributes to the students feeling even more stressed and subsequently failing the tests and having to repeat them. And these are not isolated cases. I chose to switch to another driving school and am currently taking my third and final attempt. The summary is that this is a cheaper driving school, but everything else is absolutely appalling. The tests are expensive, they don't teach you much and they treat you disrespectfully and try to stress you out as much as possible at all costs. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The only nice person is the lady in the office, who will calmly solve bureaucratic issues with you. I recommend that you read reviews and research what clients say about a driving school before joining it.

I would like to share with you my experience with the driving school. The driving school has two locations (Zbraslav, Krč), I chose it because I didn't want to take the final exams somewhere around Krč but somewhere around Zbraslav (I chose the location in Zbraslav). At the beginning, the course went perfectly fine, the instructor Šmejcký was quite calm, the routes were fine...). Then, after about 6 rides, I learned that the final exams would eventually take place in Krč and its surroundings. This information completely confused me and started to worry me a lot because I didn't drive through Krč that often and I didn't know it and its surroundings well enough. I was also surprised that parking consisted of the driving instructor having me take a photo of the paper with the longitudinal parking and telling me that I had to learn this procedure otherwise I wouldn't be able to park :D. That seemed strange to me, but somehow I didn't think about it and finished the training. The first exam was unsuccessful and I failed because of my mistake. I decided to take a practice drive before the test, so that I could drive and not forget the sensitivity of the clutch...). The DAY BEFORE THE TEST, I got a completely different driving instructor from another driving school for a practice drive, who tried to teach me how to park on the move in 25 minutes, even though I couldn't do it and I could only do it gradually. This gave me a headache and I told myself that I actually didn't know how to park at all and that I had no chance of passing the test, and unfortunately that was the case. During the second remedial test, I was already confident in my driving and parking skills and I was very confident, the driving also looked like it, but unfortunately I caught a very unsympathetic and disrespectful commissioner, who again assessed me (failed) because of one mistake, allegedly I stopped too close to the crossing in the traffic jam... OK, I was not lucky with the commissioner, but the fact that the owner of the driving school would then blame me for not taking another conditioning test after the experience with the previous one really confused and surprised me. I didn't want to waste money unnecessarily for a completely unnecessary conditioning test like the previous one... (Mr. Šmejcký supposedly had to take care of something but no one informed me that a stranger would be driving with me..). In the end, I decided to take my last attempt at another driving school and I can tell you that I couldn't have been more satisfied with the owner of the driving school. The owner really cares about his clients and tries to provide them with the highest quality course. This test was successful even though I drove exactly the same as the first retake test :))). I definitely do not recommend this driving school and definitely check the reviews because that says a lot about the driving school :). I should also add that the instructor you are used to will not drive the test with you, but a complete stranger (the owner of the driving school), so unfortunately that also had a very big influence on the course of the test :). If I could, I would give this driving school 0/10 stars :) I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND

I started my driving lessons here in December 2023. I drove with Mr. Čásenský. There was basically no preparation before my first drive, I just got behind the wheel and drove. (in the dark and in the rain) At first, the instructor was relatively calm, but as the drives went on, the atmosphere in the car deteriorated. I cried several times behind the wheel when the instructor was able to argue with me that he was telling me the information, although there was not a single mention of it and in general he was more nervous and unpleasant with each subsequent drive. (There was also a conflict about politics when he told me that I was choosing street rape and similar knowledge as my choice in the Euro elections.) After many conditioning drives and two failed attempts at the tests, which I drove in a completely different (worse) car and with a completely different instructor, or rather owner, I decided to try another instructor, Mr. Šmejcký. The rides were a little better with him, but comments like "well, let it die down, I have enough time, I told you how to do it, don't you want to? don't you want to" when I couldn't start at a crossroads on a hill and there was a line of cars behind me, didn't pass me by anyway. Arranging with their phone line is a chapter in itself, basically you can't call them, arranging rides was labor.. After a few of these rides and with the last remaining attempt, I made the only right decision about this driving school: to pick up my transfer papers. Today I got my driver's license at another driving school and saved myself xy thousand for another course and my nervous system.

Hello, I would also like to share my experience. I started driving school here around 02/2023, while I was going to work at the same time. Since I worked in the healthcare sector, sometimes I had to take an extra shift and cancel or reschedule the trip. There was never a problem with that, because I just had to click everything in the application and it was done. The whole course was extended by x months, but I expected that given my workload. The man who taught me to drive - Mr. Šmejdský, was an absolutely perfect teacher and a great person. During the course, I became pregnant and due to health complications, it was difficult for me to drive later, but I still went to the theoretical tests, which unfortunately I did not do through my own fault and I was waiting for another call for tests. I informed everyone in advance that I was pregnant and that if I waited longer, it would be harder for me to drive during the final exams. I was told that I would have to wait at least a month and that they would call me back with an appointment offer. One month turned into two and a half months, when I already had problems with movement and complications even though I was not even halfway through my pregnancy. I was given an alternative appointment that I could not make because I went to the maternity hospital for hospitalization with acute problems. I tried to call everyone, both the owner and the secretariat, that I could not come, unfortunately no one called me. I only received an SMS later that day asking why I had allowed myself not to show up. I replied to the SMS but there was no response from the driving school. I wanted to know if the driving school could be postponed or completed after giving birth, since I paid for it, including surcharges for postponing appointments, more than 23k. I called their line several times and they promised me that the owner would call me and discuss the next steps with me, but nothing ever happened, they just deleted my profile on their app and that was the end of it. There was no further conversation, no one informed me about anything. I understand that I am not an ideal client, but I did not choose these problems. I called about five times asking to connect with the owner, then I gave up and dealt with my health problems. Very childish behavior from the driving school.

If it were possible to give no stars, I would. I have not encountered anything positive in this driving school. The instructors are not good at teaching, the students repeatedly fail the exams, just like in my case. During the training, an inexperienced teacher drove with me, who does not even do this as a main job, just as a kind of part-time job... that's how my knowledge looked. In this driving school (whether it was in the car or at the branch) there was always a very unpleasant atmosphere and Mr. Petrýdes, the owner of the driving school, always made it clear to me that I was incompetent when I failed the driving exams again. Actually, the only person who was nice was the lady who collected fees from the candidates at each exam. It is also important to say that throughout the training I drove in Prague 4 (Pankrác and mainly Modřany, Vršovice, etc.), while the official name of the driving school is Autoškola Zbraslav - in Opata Konráda Street, where the remains of Mr. Němec's former driving school are located, I was there only twice - the first time when handing over money and the second time for some theory. If you are from Zbraslav or Lipenčy and are looking forward to driving in Prague 5 and the surrounding area, where you know it, unfortunately I have to disappoint you. The tests are taken from the base in Krč and it is extremely difficult terrain for untrained beginners, in my opinion and the opinion of other applicants for a driving license that I met at this driving school. And driving in Modřany really won't help you on the Jižní spojka. If you don't want to end up like one of the 8 out of 10 who don't pass the test, don't go to this driving school. The students here are completely desperate about the overall experience. Many of us took the test for the fifth, seventh, etc. That says something about the quality of the training, in my opinion. After switching to Autoškola Wyrwolová, I learned to drive perfectly. I'm glad I switched because I probably would never have gotten my driver's license here, in this driving school, given the training :).

I can only recommend this driving school! Great approach, everything is by appointment, they try to accommodate. I had the training done quickly despite the Covid situation. But the biggest thanks go to Mr. Šmejcký for his patience, sharing his experience and also for his jokes! Thank you!

RZ Group driving school was fun and taught me a lot. I highly recommend Mr. Časenský's driving lessons were great, he's a really great person who knows how to teach driving. Mr. Petrýdes, the consultations were always fun and everything was always explained to me, thanks to which the final exams are really great :) I recommend this driving school.

This driving school is a perfect example of when they only care about money. Don't expect much behavior, know-how and a pro-client approach here.... and you won't learn much either. They lure you with the low price of the course, but in the end you will be glad you did it. No wonder clients make their last attempts somewhere else. I don't appreciate it!!

I enjoyed the RZ Group driving school in a way. I highly recommend Mr. Čásenský, who was patient with me the whole time :) and also the great Mr. Petrýdes, thanks to whom the final exams are quite good :). Personally, I recommend this driving school even to those who are afraid to drive.

Absolutely no interest in lessons. One ride a month etc. I definitely can't recommend it.
