I started driving school relatively late, at the age of 31, when most people have already finished driving school. Based on this and the fact that I am naturally a big stressor and was afraid to drive, I was looking for a driving school where no one would beat me up for not doing well, where I would not feel under pressure and where I would still learn to control the car correctly and effectively.
After completing the course, I can safely say that the Petrovy driving school fully met these expectations. There are three cars available, with one of the three instructors usually driving each one. All cars are modern gasoline-gas Hyundais (i20, ix20 and i30). The cars definitely do not seem to "remember anything", they drive beautifully and easily, they are also very well maintained and clean inside.
I would then classify the driving with instructors into three directions, which I think everyone should choose according to what suits them best at the given moment. Either you can have a very, very patient instructor who will willingly explain everything to you, you will never feel under pressure in the car with him and there will be a nice and relaxed atmosphere there the whole time. Or you can have a stricter instructor but still fair and helpfully commenting on your driving, who is more focused on the goal of teaching you something. Alternatively, you can have an instructor who has a bit of both areas. But I won't reveal who is who, you will have to figure that out yourself. :3 In any case, you have nothing to worry about, no one will shout at you or scold you for not being able to do it (or at least it didn't happen to me :D ) - for me personally, these are very necessary qualities that I appreciate much more than methods like "the bigger the mistake, the more you have to eat it". I will never agree that it is generally necessary for everyone, because for me personally it is the same in effectiveness as if someone calmly told me and explained it to me, only it is worse because of the "crazy" factor, which is completely above plan for me and which lowers my self-confidence (but I know that it helps some people more). And I am definitely not the only one who feels this way.
As for the theory, the atmosphere of a three-part lecture awaits you, where you will learn everything you need to be able to properly navigate traffic. While I believe that the given amount of material would not be enough for some people, I also believe that you do not need to know that much to drive a car sensibly. And what's more, you will understand many things better during practical driving. Above all, do not forget to ask your instructors what and how. You are students of a driving school and there is simply no such thing as "you must know this before you start driving school", everything you need will be taught here. :)
And when it comes to driving, there is one more undeniable advantage to highlight. You register for the driving lessons yourself as you see fit. Also, depending on the available dates, it is entirely up to you which instructor and which car you choose (it will probably always be the same instructor with the same car :) ). In my opinion, this is something that should be introduced in all driving schools where it is not yet available, because the time flexibility is simply a very positive benefit, especially for someone who works and does not always have time. :) If you then run out of your driving lessons, but are not sure whether you are ready, you can simply add more driving lessons in the system there and if I understand it correctly, the decisive thing is to pay for them at the nearest exam date. You can probably drive them until then. But I have not experienced it, I have always paid for them in advance, so I cannot judge this. :)
To sum it up: Human and patient approach, good cars, flexible schedule, enough (and not too much) theory, in many cases a very relaxed atmosphere, no unnecessary beating and treatment of complexes. Yes, if you are like me, that you are afraid of driving and need to gain self-confidence, definitely go to this driving school. Human approach and patience are very essential, valuable and beneficial for me and I got everything here in abundance :). I highly recommend it.
